Workplace romances aren't so uncommon. After all, you get to know the people you work with for a while.
If you click with someone, then it's just a coincidence that you're workmates unless, of course, it's not allowed in the company rule book. The same thing is true for celebrities.
In fact, with all the characters and relationships they have to portray so realistically on-screen, it's sometimes a wonder how those emotions don't bleed into real life. We know it's all just a job, of course, and they're just playing characters but there are moments when emotions do bleed into real life.
For some, it's the person they're partnered up with on the show. For others, it's someone who's just in the same place and the same time as them.
No matter what it is, some of these relationships and the stories of how they met to give us butterflies. Some of them even make us a lot more giddy than their on-screen performances on the show.
More surprisingly, some of these celeb couples were able to hide their relationship from the public until well, they were about to get married. They really had mad skills.

Peter Krause and Lauren Graham (Parenthood)
Although they met way back in 1995, they didn't start dating until they met again in Parenthood where they played the siblings Adam and Sarah Braverman.
Although Lauren had a rule about not dating any actor-type, this was the exception. She said, "It was like, You like me, and I like you. It gave me an understanding of life: This is how things happen, and it's completely random."
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox (Midnight In The Switchgrass)
They met on the set of their indie thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020, however, their movie was shot down because of the pandemic. Despite that, the couple started hanging out more and after Machine Gun Kelly released his music video for Bloody Valentine in May, the two became Instagram official.
Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli (Orange Is The New Black)
The pair met on Orange Is The New Black where Samira played Poussey and Lauren was a writer.
In an interview, Samira admitted that she fell in love with Lauren's mind before even meeting the person. She said, "I was really attracted to Lauren’s mind first before I met Lauren the person. I got her script and I was like: ‘This person’s really talented, I can’t wait to meet this person.'”
Back then, however, Lauren was still married to a man and has just recently discovered that she was a lesbian. So the pair started off as friends before getting married in 2017.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend (Stereo music video)
They worked together in John's 2007 music video for Stereo. Chrissy revealed that after the shoot, they went back to John's hotel, had some In-N-Out , and hooked up.
Chrissy said of their little encounter, "We didn’t ever say goodbye that night.” After a few months, they got together and got married in 2013.
Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
The two met on the set of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where they played Mac and Dee.
Although they started dating in the second season of the show, their castmates didn't know they were together until two seasons later. Kaitlin revealed that at the beginning, she wanted something serious but Rob only wanted something casual but she said that she knew how he truly felt even before he did.
Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie Chance Roberts (How to Build a Girl)
This couple met in 2019 on the movie How To Build A Girl where Beanie starred as Johanna Morrigan and Bonnie was one of the producers.
Before she met Bonnie, Beanie said that she wasn't into relationships but when they met on set, Bonnie felt like everything suddenly made sense. She said, "Whoa! Now I get it…. I get why people write songs.”
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
Jada auditioned to be Will's girlfriend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air but didn't end up getting the part. Still, after meeting on set, the two soon began dating and eventually married in 1997.
They went through a brief separation in 2016 but have reconciled and still remain together today.
Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley (The 100)
The two first met on the set of The 100 where Eliza played Clarke and Bob played Bellamy.
Over the course of the series, fans have always shipped the two. The real relationship between the two was kept a secret, however, until they made a surprise marriage announcement in 2019.
Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann (Law & Order: SVU)
Mariska and Peter first met on the set of the TV series Law & Order: SVU.
During their first date, the actress admitted that she was instantly drawn to the actor. She said, "I just about passed out when I saw him there. I thought, that's my husband."
Joseph Morgan and Persia White (The Vampire Diaries)
After meeting on the set of The Vampire Diaries, the two went on to create a short film together titled Revelation.
While they didn't publicly confirm their relationship until 2013, fans have assumed they were dating since they were spotted together on several occasions. They then got married in 2014.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton (The Voice)
This music power couple met on The Voice in 2014 where they were both juges. At the time, however, they were both married to different people.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones)
They played the doomed couple Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones and while first dating rumors spread about them spread in 2012, Kit kept denying the relationship.

Andrew Rannells and Tuc Watkins (The Boys in the Band)
The two were cast as boyfriends in the play The Boys In The Band and actually fell in love with each other while doing the press for the play. They also reprised their roles for the Netflix adaptation of the play.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Once Upon a Time)
They took on the roles of Snow White and Prince Charming in the TV series Once Upon a Time and started dating soon after meeting on set. They fell in love fast and according to Josh, "It hit me like a blinding light."
Ross Lynch and Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina)
Ross and Jaz met in the set of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina where their characters even eventually became love interests in the show. During the beginning of their relationship, however, it was all just rumors until they confirmed their relationship in 2020 on TikTok.
Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem (Vicky Cristina Barcelona)
Before meeting on the set of Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the pair met way back in 1992. It wasn't until their reunion that they started dating.
They were spotted together on numerous occasions but only made their first public appearance together in 2010. They also got married later that year.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes (The Place Beyond the Pines)
Ryan and Eva met years before they started shooting The Place Beyond The Pines and when they started dating, they did it quietly. They've remained highly private about their relationship and would only occasionally talk about it and their family during interviews.

Kelly and Mark first met on the set of All My Children where they played love interests. That love also bled into real life and then in 1996, after dating for a few months, they eloped.

Although they have been very quiet about their romance, sources say that they first started dating shortly after meeting on the set of Empire. They eventually then got married in 2016.
Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne (In a World)
The pair first became good friends on the set of In a World.
When Stephanie first met Tig, she still identified as straight. She shared that as she started to fall in love with Tig, she realized she wasn't actually in love with her exes.
She said, "I was so into Tig and I was falling in love with her and I didn't know how to identify it because I thought I was straight."
They finally got married in 2015.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons (Fargo)
Kirsten and Jesse first met and became friends on the set of Fargo but they didn't start dating until a year and a half later. Reminiscing about their time working together, Jesse said, "I knew that she would be in my life for a long time."
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk (Glee)
Gwyneth met Brad when she guest-starred on Glee where he was one of the show's creators. At the time, they were both just recently divorced from their longtime partners.
On Robert Downey Jr.'s 50th birthday party, they were spotted together and sources say that they were "very happy together." It was only in 2015 though when they made their relationship Instagram official and in 2018, they finally married and have been together ever since.
We are honestly so happy and a little bit envious of these celebs. Though it's not rare to meet someone from work, it's not often you find that special someone that you're willing to spend the rest of your life with.
